Hey! It's Tory here... hope you all had a great Halloween!!! I suppose I should load up some photos... or maybe even add a photo page to this website. Rumor has it Victoria has changed her name to Tory Envy. Well.... the rumors are true! Now, aren't you glad there's such a thing as www.venusonfire.com to get all your truths on Venus on Fire? Her manager had been talking about changing her name for a while now. The problem was finding something that wouldn't stray too far away from her original name. She felt she could never change her name completely. It was like throwing away a piece of her heart. After watching the movie "Scott Pilgrim VS the World" she fell in love with the name Envy, the character from the band The Clash at Demonhead. So she decided to keep it and make it as her own. So there it is. Tory, short for Victoria. Tory Envy.

Alas, it's Friday! What are we all up to now-a-days? School is back in session for you youngins and VOF is off to finding new endeavours! A few shows have been booked; however, they are local. That means you'll have to fly, drive, swim, run, or walk to Minnesota to see them perform for now. A mid-west tour is in the talks with management as the band is brainstorming on new songs to add to their acoustic EP. Rumor has it the My Furious Frenzy EP is due to be released this month!!! What does that mean for you? It means your wait has finally ended!!!! Come back again for an announcement of the release date. Cheers my friends!

OMG! Is it September already? The summer flew by so fast! Too fast for our sake! This fall MY FURIOUS FRENZY is bound to be out and about. That's a big relief! And seriously.... we've all been waiting forever now. The release date will be announced soon. In the mean time... Venus on Fire is working on a collaboration with Hilltribe! Who would've though! Victoria has always had a hip-hop side of her... rapping old school with hip-hop beats..haha. The collaboration will involve one of Hilltribe's songs off of their new EP American Eyes meshed up with one of Venus on Fire's new songs off their new EP My Furious Frenzy as well. Which ones will it be? Guess you'll just have to see. September 10th they will perform their mesh up at the Vision Awards. We'll see you there!
